In an atmosphere full of love and tolerance, Dr. Hamid Alkhafaji met His Holiness Pope Francis (Pope of the Catholic Church) in the Vatican City in Rome. This was within the activities of the Sadeer in communication, opening horizons of dialogue and peaceful coexistence, and sending the tolerant message of Islam according to a fair human methodology. Dr. AlKhafaji conveyed messages of affection from the Foundation’s staff and expressed his appreciation for the good reception and meeting. For his part, His Holiness the Pontiff expressed his welcome and high appreciation for the positions of the honorable Najaf and its supreme authority in consolidating the principles of tolerance and moderation.
It is noteworthy that the Sadeer Foundation participated in the activities of the Conference on Freedom of Religion and Citizenship, which was held in Rome, and included the participation of many religious and community institutions.
